Introduction

This pale brown species is widespread across the top end of Australia from far North Queensland to the Pilbara and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Closely resembling B. ianthe (Kirkaldy) in appearance and coloration. Differing in having paired, apical aedeagus extensions of equal length (Evans 1981).
