Adult: mellivore, volant.

Extra Ecological Information

Nest in dead, dry twigs (Cassia L. s.lat. [Caesalpiniaceae]), several females in one nest and larvae of various ages are found together, not in separate cells, flower visiting record: Bursaria Cav. [Pittosporaceae], Callistemon R.Br. [Myrtaceae], Loranthus Jacq. [Loranthaceae].
