"Found in glasshouses, commercial mushroom houses... Also found in gardens (on ornamental plants), in deciduous woods (acacia, lime, oak, red maple), and on stream banks (in reeds and moss). The larvae were found feeding on the roots and/ or stems of campanula, carnations, corn, cucumbers, geraniums, lettuce, nasturtiums, young orchid plants, peas, pineapple, poinsettia, potato tubers, primula seedlings, sugar cane, wheat, and also in the soil around cactus plants."
