Ecological Descriptors
Low intertidal, mangrove, marine, mud bottom–marine, sand bottom marine, seagrass, shallow subtidal.
Diagnosis
Pedal disc weakly adherent, with limbus. Column smooth, thin-walled, translucent, to 10 mm long. Tentacles numerous, up to 20 but as few as 12, inner longer than outer, length up to 5 times height of column, pointed; transparent with or without white or cream transverse stripes. Actinopharynx with up to two siphonoglyphs, but siphonoglyphs may be absent; when present, directive mesenteries are connect. Mesenteries irregularly arranged in up to 4 cycles; first cycle perfect, cycles 2-4 imperfect; cycles 1-2 fertile, cycles 3-4 sterile. More mesenteries distally than proximally.
