This species was regarded as a nomen dubium by Knight (1983) because it is based on a female holotype.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Head yellow, eyes black, frontal and epicranial sutures indistinct. Crown yellow, slightly wider in the centre than against the eyes. Pronotum and scutellum concolorous with the crown. Tegmen opaque, pale green with ill-defined yellow and brown areas; veins green, apex of tegmen pale hyaline brown. Thorax and abdomen ventral surface and legs yellow. Length 4 mm (Evans 1942).
