Introduction
This species is based on a single female holotype from Hobart, Tasmania. Knight (1983) regarded it as a nomen dubium because of the absence of males from the type series.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Head, pronotum and scutellum pale brownish yellow. Thorax and abdomen ventral surface and legs very pale brownish yellow. Length 4.5 mm, Head width 1.8 mm (Evans 1936).
