Holotype AM ♂ (coll.: J.W. Evans), New South Wales.
Introduction
This species, which is only known from the male holotype, was described simply from "New South Wales" with no further collection details.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
This species differs from the other two known Australian species by its striate pronotum and short peduncle of the third apical cell of the forewing. It also differs in the male genitalia. Webb (1983) gives details and figures.
