Holotype QM ♂ (coll.: iv.1977, R.I. Storey), Lockerbie Scrub, Bamaga, Queensland.
Introduction
B. lintus is known from the far north tip of Cape York Peninsula and Dunk Island, in the wet tropics of North Queensland.

Diagnosis
This species can be distinguished by the brownish yellow markings on the head and thorax and by the very long arms of the aedeagal shaft (Webb 1983).
