Holotype QM ♂ (coll.: iv.1977, R.I. Storey), Lockerbie Scrub, Bamaga, Queensland.
Introduction
This species is only known from the type locality, Lockerbie Scrub near the tip of Cape York Peninsula in North Queensland.

All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
This species can be distinguished by its shagreen pronotum and the very long basal stem of the aedeagus (Webb 1983).
