Introduction

This species is not well known and is only known from the type locality Moorooka, in SE Queensland. The J.W. Evans collection contains no specimens of the species.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: gregarious, phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

General coloration dark brown. Head with face evenly convex, dark brown mottled with reddish brown. Crown and pronotum irregularly mottled with dark brown and reddish brown. Crown and pronotum irregularly mottled with dark brown and reddish brown. Scutellum dark brown mottled anteromedially with pale reddish brown. Tegmen hyaline dark and reddish brown with oval white markings. Legs reddish brown, hind tibia with three spurs and several spines. Length 4.8 mm (Evans 1947).
