Introduction

This small narrow species is only known from the type series collected at Dedari, Western Australia in 1936.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Head ventral surface, anteclypeus pale brown, lora maxillary plates and the vertex anteriorly whitish. Frontoclypeus chestnut brown mottled with dark brown. Crown medially dark grey, laterally pinkish; eyes dark brown. Pronotum anterolaterally pinkish yellow, otherwise grey. Scutellum pinkish brown, muscle impressions brown. Tegmen hyaline grey with a dark brown fascia; veins pale brown bordered with a double row of fine hairs. Thorax ventral surface black. Abdomen ventral surface yellow. Length 5 mm (Evans 1942).
