Diagnosis

Caput thorace angustius, fronte convexa. Ocelli inter se valde approximati. Thorax sexangularis. Scutellum triangulare, aequilaterura. Tegmina venis distinctissimis, longitudinalibus apicem versus serie unica venularum transversarum conjunctis, prope apicem ad costam venulis transversis distinctissimis instructa. Tibiae anteriores femoribus nonnihil longiores, posticae pone medium unispinosae; articulo primo tarsorum posticorum apicalibus
duobus ad unum breviore
(Stål 1863).

Fragile, delicate insects. The labium terminates in line with the hind margin of the middle coxae. The hind margin of the face of the head is arched and the fronto-clypeus is swollen and slightly flattened medially and the eyes are widely separated from the fronto-clypeus. The scutellum is narrower than the crown of the head between the eyes. The tegmen are narrow and proximally membranous, though distally coriaceous. The hind tibiae have a single spur (Evans 1966).
