Worldwide, introduced to Australian salt works, including Bowen and Rockhampton (Geddes, 1979a,b) and Dampier and, up to the late 1990s, Useless Loop at Shark Bay; also at Dampier, Onslow, and Port Hedland, WA (M. Coleman, pers.comm.).
