Introduction
From Edwards (1996): Argyrolepidia thoracophora (Turner, 1920) is one of a group of species superficially resembling Vitessa Moore, [1860] (Pyralidae: Pyralinae). The genitalia of A. thoracophora Turner are almost identical to those of A. megisto (Boisduval, 1832), from New Guinea, but the aedeagus of thoracophora is longer.
