Records of the South Australian Museum (Adelaide) 1: 229-272 [262] [as Cyclostenus vittatus Rainbow, 1920; inclusion in Argoctenus relegates C. vittatus to secondary junior homonymy of Miturgina vittata Simon, 1888, however Lehtinen, P.T. 1967. Classification of the cribellate spiders and some allied families, with notes on the evolution of the suborder Araneomorpha. Annales Zoologici Fennici 4: 199–468 says they may be synonymous].
