Records of the Australian Museum 45: 279-363 [290] (synonymised A. australis with A. paleacea after having examined the dehydrated type of A. paleacae and, although Peters' name has priority, could find no evidence of the name having ever been used apart from the original whereas A. australis has been used widely in New Zealand and Australia; suggest that A. australis be retained under Art. 79c, ICZN (1985))
