Introduction

The Aphaenini is one of two tribes of the subfamily, both of which are represented in Australia. The Australian Aphaenini includes numerous species of Desudaba Walker, some of which are common and well known in eastern Australia, and two relatively drab species in the small genus Galela Distant which is found in Western Australia and Indonesia.

 

Diagnosis

Clavus ouvert en arrière, le tronc commun de ses 2 nervures peut être court et se terminer dans le bord sutural, ou bien se prolonger loin en arrière, et alors ou se bifurquer, ou se termine dans la suture, celle-ci ordinairement se bifurque (Lallemand 1963).
