This species is only known from the type series from Norfolk Island.

Diagnosis

Reddish-brown; anterior and posterior margin of pronotum and basal angles of scutellum dark brown. Forewings yellow; apical cells and margins of clavus next to scutellum dark brown. Male genitalia. Pygophore broadly rounded posteriorly; a short, robust, posteriorly directed process on posterodorsal margin, its apex foot-like. Subgenital plates triangulate, abruptly narrowed basally, exceeding pygophore, apex upturned and broadly rounded in lateral aspect; a uniseriate row of four spine-like setae on lateral margin immediately basad of midlength; a group of small, tooth-like setae on lateral margin immediately basad of lateral setae. Styles with preapical lobe well-developed; apical process expanded, truncate, distal edge thickened. Aedeagus with single shaft cylindrical, directed dorsally at base then turning posteriorly; a pair of slender divergent processes at apex of shaft; gonopore apical (Knight 1976).
