Diagnosis
A comprehensive description is provided by Liang, Fletcher & Jiang (2005). The species can be differentiated from the other described species of Anyllis by examination of the male genitalia, particularly the shape of the male genital styles which are narrowed from about midlength to the apex but are bifurcate at the very apex.
