Ecological Descriptors
Larva: parasitic.
Diagnosis
Very similar to A. funestus except haltere knob yellow; wing pattern with division between basal darker brown and apical lighter brown regions not as distinct. Male genitalia with rounded basiphallus and epiphallus with small dorsal apical hook, ventral apical flange sharp in lateral view forming long, curved lateral flanges extending beyond apex of phallus in dorsal view.
