Type data:
Holotype MNHP OCT.A.1987.1 one colony in alcohol, north east of Tahiti, 1020 m [16°27.30'N, 146°33'W].
Introduction
Animals collected in Australian waters are similar to Anthomastus tahinodus, but they have not been verified as that species.
