Genus Antechinomys Krefft, 1867

Introduction

Westerman et al. (2023) found little evidence to support the recognition of two subspecies within Antechinomys laniger but suggest that the genetic and morphological variation observed within the species requires further investigation. We retain the subspecies arrangement here until this work can be conducted.
