Introduction
Annabellia occidentalis differs from A. bingara by having a less globose shell and a more open umbilicus.

Diagnosis
Shell medium-sized, dull brown, subglobose, moderately tightly coiled with a low-domed spire; protoconch smooth, teleoconch with very prominent radial ribs above; umbilicus very narrow, U-shaped; diameter 20mm.
