Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus spp. [MYRTACEAE] Gum Trees (on branches); Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Flindersia xanthoxyla (A.Cunn. ex Hook.) Domin [FLINDERSIACEAE] Yellow-Wood).

Extra Ecological Information

Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Leptospermum flavescens; Hawkeswood (1988) recorded adults and larvae of this species from timber of Flindersia xanthoxyla (Flindersiaceae).
