Bulletin of the United States National Museum 100(5): 1-486, pls 1-103 [176-178, pls 68(6-10), 96(10)] [the syntype figured on pl. 68(6) is misidentified and is conspecific with the holotype of Amphioplus cyrtacanthus H.L. Clark, 1915, see Clark & Rowe (1971: 101-102, footnote 21)].
