Introduction

Altidelos bellendenker is distinguished by the radially streaked shell with weak curved radial growth ridges and absence of spiral sculpture. A number of altitudinally restricted small rhytidids in the Wet Tropics occur only on the mountain summits and higher plateaux of the region. Altidelos bellendenker is a representative of this extensive, but poorly known fauna.
