Introduction
Species of Altidelos are distinguished by the almost smooth streaked shell with much reduced spiral sculpture and wide V-shaped umbilicus. They differ from members of Saladelos by the lack of spiral grooves on the upper surface and in having flat sutures.

Diagnosis
Shell small, subdiscoidal, with flat spire, flared body whorl and flat sutures; protoconch shiny, smooth, teleoconch sculpture of weak curved radial ribs and very weak to vague spiral striae above, shiny below; umbilicus wide, V-shaped. Colour creamy-yellow with darker reddish radial streaks.
