Type data:
Holotype ANIC ♂ (coll.: 26.xi.1968, at light in vine scrub, E. Britton & S. Misko), 3.2 km NE of Mourangee, nr Edungalba, Queensland.
Introduction
This species is only known from the male holotype and a second male not accorded type status since it was stylopised. The species is unknown to the compiler. It was named "in honour of Dr E.B. Britton, one of the collectors of the holotype, in recognition of his work on Australian Coleoptera."
