Paratype(s) NMNZ 792–804; RMNH D37530 2 specimens, New Zealand, off Marriott Island.
Introduction
Previously often regarded as a subspecies of Alpheus euphrosyne, A. richardsoni is confirmed as a valid species and redescribed in Anker (2023).
