  Type species:

   Sternophorus (Afrosternophorus) aethiopicus Beier, 1967 by original designation.

  Type species:

   Sternophorellus araucariae Beier, 1971 by original designation.
• Indogaryops Sivaraman, S. 1981. Systematics of some South Indian sternophorid pseudoscorpions (Pseudoscorpionida, Monosphyronida). Revue Suisse de Zoologie 88: 313-325 [322].

  Type species:

   Indogaryops amrithiensis Sivaraman, 1981 by original designation (junior synonym of Sternophorus ceylonicus Beier, 1973).
