Diagnosis
Pedal disc well developed (up to 15 mm), but not as broad as oral disc. Column smooth, ~ 10 mm, white in colour. Margin distinct. Sphincter fairly strong, mesogloeal, reticular, forming coarse meshes. Tentacles delicate, up to 70 or more; outer ones very short, inner ones larger and same length as column. Retractors are band-like, weak, folds usually low, branched in upper part. Region of ciliated tract broad. Acontia numerous.
