- AETOBATIDAE.
Introduction
The genus Aetobatus was previously placed in the family Myliobatidae. White & Naylor (2016) separated the genus into the Aetobatidae. Currently five species are recognised in the single genus from the tropical Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans, with one species recorded form Australia.
