Diagnosis

Carapace without ribs. Second antenna: endopod of female 2-segmented. Maxilla: with 3 distinct segments. Fifth limb: 2nd exopod segment with large quadrate tooth. Sixth limb: end segment with relatively few bristles. Seventh limb: absent on male. Furca: no secondary claws between primary claws. Rod-shaped organ: short, conical.
