Diagnosis

Females and males resemble those of H. bispinosus and H. tasmaniensis in having a similar shaped retrolateral tegular apophysis and long, curved epigynal ducts. Males can easily be recognized by the thick retrolateral tip of the LTA without any spines and the absence of the thin extension on the tip, females by the small copulatory opening.
