Type data:
Syntype(s) NMV K108, Vic: Cheltenham, near the Benevolent Home; NMV K109, Vic: Waddy Point, near Bark Hill Farm, on the shores of Lake Victoria, twelve miles from Bairnsdale
Comment: Cheltenham was designated as the type locality by Butler, but specimens from both locations he gave are listed as syntypes by NMV.

New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria, Western Australia

Occurs across southern Australia, but no specific records found for South Australia or the Australian Capital Territory.
