Introduction

This species has only been found at the type locality in South Australia. The species name comes from Calperum Station.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Small pale and punctate. Gena acutely angled. Lateral pronotal processes short, transversely directed, not wide when viewed from in front, apically acute. Dorsal carina not strongly developed, venation slightly reticulate with only one extra crossvein. Tip of median pronotal process moderately depressed apically. Metopidium depressed mesad of eyes. Tegmen pale and uniformly hyaline. Length (holotype ♀) 4.0 mm (Day 1999).
