Compiler and date details

9 September 2011 - Murray J. Fletcher

Introduction

The original collection locality given for this species was Kuranda, on the Atherton Tableland above Cairns, North Queensland but this was corrected to Cairns by Knight (1983). Specimens from the J.W. Evans collection are, however, labelled from Kuranda and were collected xii.1966 by J.G. Brooks. The species differs from most other species by being brown with pale tegmen veins, rather than green. The females are distinctly larger than the males.
