Introduction

This species has been found in the Sydney basin and in Brisbane in SE Queensland. Fletcher (1985) placed it in the roseicincta group. The holotype and three paratypes were collected on leaves of yellow bloodwood, Corymbia eximia (Schauer) K.D.Hill & L.A.S.Johnson (Myrtaceae), which is probably a host for the species.
