Introduction
A limestone associated species distinguishable from G.australis napierana by the stronger development of the apertural barriers and the more prominent upward deflection of the trumpet-like last whorl.

Low closed forest, terrestrial.

Under rocks and overhangs on limestone outcrops.
Diagnosis
Shell tiny, dark brown, trochoid with a prominent peripheral angle and subperipheral sulcus; sculpture of spiral threads and weak axial growth threads. Last whorl trumpet-like and flared and detached from shell, mostly deflected upwards; rather delicate parietal and palatal teeth with reduced or absent accessory teeth; umbilicus open; aperture oate; umbilicus open; height 2.8mm.
