Diagnosis

Column short, stout, height and diameter 7 mm. Pedal disc flat, adherent. Scapus coriaceous, corrugated, buff. Capitulum delicate, translucent, violet with a ring of small white marks. Oral disc circular, chestnut colour. Mouth oval, with dark brown lips. No siphonoglyphs apparent, actinopharynx cream coloured. Tentacles short, with swollen base, of about same length as oral disc diameter, inner longer than outer. Inner tentacles cream, with an interrupted dark line on oral side, dark brown base, edged wih bright deep green; outer tentacles with no colour on base. Found attached to dead coral rock in crevices, in intertidal region.
