Introduction

This beautifully marked leafhopper is found in New Guinea and in North Queensland as far south as the wet tropics around Cairns.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

The distinctive markings on the head, pronotum and tegmina should make this species recognisable amongst the Australian Cicadellidae. The male genitalia were described and illustrated by Knight & Fletcher (2007).
