Holotype AM K71517 ♂ (coll.: light trap), Darwin, Northern Territory.
Introduction
This pale species with brown markings is only known from the type locality of Darwin, Northern Territory. It was "named in honour of Dr Jerzy Leszek Olszewski, meteorologist" who had some input to the publication in which the species was described.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: parenchyma feeder.
Diagnosis
Light testaceous. Forewings semitransparent with a brown pattern. Lateral sutures of frontoclypeus blackish brown. Upper pygophore hook parallel-sided, sinuate, serrated in its lower margin at tip. Subgenital plate narrow, with three macrosetae; outer plica short, swollen, parallel-sided. Upper part of paramere almost straight, ornamented with regular ledges. Aedeagus short, thick, broadened in upper part and provided with teeth on its dorsal and lateral surfaces in upper part. Length ♂ 2.6–3 mm, ♀ 2.75–2.95 mm (Dworakowska 1972).
