Holotype AM C.16416 dry, sand to mud, 2.5-3 mls offshore in Shoalhaven Bight, New South Wales, Australia [34°52'4.8'S, 151°48'10.8'E]. - Chicoreus falsinii Nicolay, K. 1976. Family Muricidae. La Conchiglia 8(93-94): 16-18 [18].
