  • Chrysopogon horni Hardy, G.H.H. 1934. The Asilidae of Australia.—Part II. Annals and Magazine of Natural History 10 14: 1-35 [Date published 2 July 1934] [29–30].
    Type data:
     Holotype DEIE ♂ (According to Hardy's original description the holotype came from Herberton, Qld, and was deposited in the Deutschen Entomologischen Institute. The specimen in DEI bears a label 'Kuranda, N.Qu., I. 1910', and another in Hardy's hand 'Chrysopogon horni Hardy HOLOTYPE'. It is taken to be the holotype (Clements 1985, p. 42)), Kuranda, Qld, .x.1910.
