Diagnosis

Anchimolgus excertus has three digitform processes on the mandible, but all congeners have only one or two such processes. The new species may be distinguished from its congeners by more readily observable characters, however. These are, in the female, the dorsally raised prominence on the genital segment, and, in the male, the lack of ornamentation (in addition to the two setae) on the second segment of the maxilliped.
