Generic Combinations

Introduction

This species was regarded as a nomen dubium by Knight (1983) because the type was missing from AM. However, two male specimens, matching the original type data and identified as Eurinoscopus viridis by J.W. Evans are in the J.W. Evans collection and may either include the missing type or be duplicate specimens. Examination of one of these males indicates that it is B. angustatus (Osborn) although smaller than other specimens of that species.
