Species Nanhermannia gladiata P. Balogh, 1985

Introduction

The name above the description of this species is spelt galdiata, but in the figure caption it is spelt gladiata. There is no explanation of the etymology of this name, but Balogh refers to knife-like notogastral setae, which presumably provides the derivation of the name - gladiatus, sword like. I therefore consider the spelling galdiata to be a typographical error.
