Holotype AM P81221 adult ♂, length 0.86 mm (V.A. Harris, 1973), Green Island, Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia [16°41'S 45°56'E (this is probably in error, likely it should read 145°56'E)].
Paratype(s) BMNH ♀ mounted on slide, as for holotype
Comment: Specimens collected from seagrass (Zostera sp?).
