Introduction

Montidelos urarensis differs from M. macquariensis by having a flatter shell with a much wider umbilicus. It differs from Microdelos pallida by being larger with much more prominent spiral sculpture.

Ecological Descriptors

Dry vine thickets, litter-dwelling, under logs.

 

Diagnosis

Shell medium-sized, dark yellow, subdiscoidal; protoconch shiny, with weak radial growth ridges, teleoconch sculpture of prominent branched spiral wrinkles above and spiral grooves below; umbilicus very wide, V-shaped; diameter 10.5mm.
