Introduction
The shell of Pupisoma evada is often dirt-encrusted, however, can be distinguished by the peripheral spines which are evident in fresh material but absent in eroded shells. The species is considreed uncommon.

Extra Distribution Information
Narooma SE NSW to Gladstone, SE QLD, and Lord Howe and Norfolk islands; an uncommon but widespread species.
Australian Endemic.
